If you think buying Valentine’s Day cards and all that it entails (writing a message by hand, sending them through mail) is a hassle, never fear. Just like having the convenience of apps for cookbooks, we’ve found a few apps that make sending Valentines quite seamless.

1. Cartolina - Whimsical and filled with beautiful art, this app gets the vote for best design. While the app has more general designs for everyday use, there are a few you can use for sending a quick Valentine to a friend, family member or significant other. We love having the option to send by email, text, or posting to Facebook. Cost: $1.99. Availability: iPhone

2. Red Stamp - Red Stamp is the modern card app. While Cartolina is more vintage, Red Stamp is modern design mixed with photo cards. We love the options this app offers and even after Valentine’s is over, you can use for sending out party invitations, birthday cards or when the holidays come around again, it’s there for you to use. Most designs are free but if you want to add premium designs, there’s a cost. It also has the most sharing options - you can send by email, text, Facebook or on Twitter. Cost: Free. Availability: iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

3. Just Wink - Perfect for sending cards on the fly, this custom greeting card app from American Greeting Cards has messages that range from sweet, funny and just a little bit cheek-in-tongue humor. They also have a great feature of being able to sign your cards by touchscreen. It has no cost and the only thing you need to do is sign up for a free account. Cost: Free. Availability: iPhone and Android.

4. American Greeting eCards - We’re much more fond of American Greeting’s Just Wink app but their eCards also has a few designs we like. Compared to Just Wink, some eCards are videos which we think is pretty cute. However, unlike other apps, you can only email your eCards. Cost: Free. Availability:iPhone.

5. Sincerely Ink - Sincerely Ink is a gorgeous app which isn’t surprising since it comes from it’s parent startup Sincerely that has Postagram and PopBooth under it’s belt. Unlike the other apps we’ve listed, Ink isn’t a virtual eCard app. It actually sends physical cards by the mail. But it’s so easy to use, you can customize cards with photos and text right on your phone. They also send the cards for you and the prices are reasonable. If you don’t mind your Valentine Card being a little bit late, Ink is a great app. Cost: Free. Availability: iPhone and Android.

WarMouse Meta: the multi-button(16 buttons) joystick mouse

Warmouse designed the Meta with the goal of creating the best and most useful mouse the digital world has seen to date. Initially inspired by the keyboards on the Treo smartphones, it was created by a game designer who was fed up with the paltry number of buttons available on high-end gaming mice. Because gaming mice have historically been designed primarily for FPS games rather than MMO and RTS games, they do not possess sufficient buttons for the dozens of commands, actions and spells that are utilized in games designed with interfaces that make heavy use of icon bars and pull-down menus. (The SteelSeries WoWmouse and the Razer Naga are two different attempts to solve this very problem.) After discovering that the World of Warcraft mice available at the time were nothing more than regular two-button mice decorated with orcs, dwarves, and Night elves, the concept of the WarMouse was born. It was determined, after much experimentation, that 16 buttons divided into two 8-button halves were the maximum number that could be efficiently used by feel alone. And in the process of design and development, it quickly became apparent that many non-gaming applications would also benefit from having dozens of commands accessible directly from the mouse, especially applications with many functions utilizing nested pull-down menus and hotkey combinations.
